Quavo is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, music video director, and record producer who has built an impressive net worth of $28 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. He is best known as one-third of the hip hop trio Migos, alongside his cousin Offset and nephew Takeoff. As a group, Migos rose to fame in the mid-2010s with hit singles like “Versace” and “Bad and Boujee.” They have since become one of music’s hottest acts, releasing successful albums and embarking on sold-out tours. In this article we talk about Quavo Net Worth in 2024.

In recent years, Quavo has also found success as a solo artist. In 2018, he released his debut studio album “Quavo Huncho” which peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. He has collaborated with the likes of Madonna, Justin Bieber, Drake and Post Malone among others. Tragically, in November 2022, Migos member Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston at age 28.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

Quavious Keyate Marshall was born on April 2, 1991 in Athens, Georgia. His mother Edna was a hairdresser. His father passed away when Quavo was just four years old. He was raised alongside his cousins Kiari Cephus (Offset) and Kirshnik Ball (Takeoff) in suburban Gwinnett County.

Quavo played quarterback for his high school football team and was set to graduate in 2009. However, he dropped out during his senior year to pursue a rap career with Migos. Much later in life, Quavo announced he had finally earned his high school diploma in 2020 at age 29.

Migos started out as a group called Polo Club before changing their name. They released their first mixtape “Juug Season” in 2011, garnering some local buzz. Over the next few years, they would drop other free mixtapes like “No Label” and “Y.R.N” while continuing to gain popularity in Atlanta’s rap scene. Their single “Versace” went viral in 2013, eventually leading to a record deal with 300 Entertainment.

Rise to Fame with Migos

In June 2015, Migos released their official debut album “Yung Rich Nation” which peaked at #3 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart. However, they wouldn’t become household names until 2017 when they dropped their sophomore album “Culture.” Fueled by the smash hit “Bad and Boujee” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Culture debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and was eventually certified Platinum. Between 2017 and 2018, Migos earned $25 million thanks largely to a grueling, 93-date concert tour across North America.

They enjoyed more chart-topping success in 2018 with their #1 album “Culture II,” which spawned popular singles like “Walk It Talk It” and “Stir Fry.” From 2018 to 2019, Migos made $36 million collectively, cementing themselves as one of music’s hottest acts. After signing a new deal with Motown and Capitol Records, they released “Culture III” in 2021. While not as commercially successful as the first two albums, it still reached #2 on the Billboard 200.

Solo Work and Other Ventures

While thriving as part of Migos, Quavo has also developed a successful solo career over the past several years. He was featured on DJ Khaled’s 2016 megahit “I’m the One” alongside Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne. He then began collaborating with Travis Scott under the name Huncho Jack, releasing their joint album “Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho” in 2017. Quavo finally dropped his official solo debut “Quavo Huncho” in October 2018. The album peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200.

In addition to music, Quavo has appeared as himself on hit shows like HBO’s “Ballers,” FX’s “Atlanta” and The CW’s “Star.” He also landed a role in the Netflix series “Narcos: Mexico.” On the sports front, Quavo participated in the NBA’s Celebrity All-Star Game three years straight from 2018 to 2020. His team won in 2018 when he took home MVP honors.

The Loss of Takeoff and What’s Next

On November 1, 2022, tragedy struck when Takeoff was shot and killed outside a Houston bowling alley following a private party. Quavo was present but not harmed during the incident. Police have yet to name a suspect or motive in Takeoff’s murder.

In the months since the shooting, Quavo and Offset came together to perform a tribute to Takeoff at the 2023 BET Awards. Quavo also recently released the album “Only Built For Infinity Links” with Takeoff under the name Unc & Phew. It’s unclear if Migos will continue without Takeoff moving forward.
